Roderick Hine

Rod is an experienced advocate with over 41 years call. He has sat as a Deputy District Judge for the last 21 years. Rod's practice area mainly covers the Western Circuit, London and the Home Counties but is always willing to travel further afield. Rod is approved by the Law Society to provide courses for solicitors requiring CPD points; he was previously a Law Lecturer providing Professional and A Level Courses.

Previous to becoming an independent practicing Barrister, Roderick was a senior crown prosecutor with the Crown prosecution service for 7 years.

He is also authorised by the Bar standards board to undertake Direct access work, which clients often prefer as there is no solicitor in the middle, and they instruct Roderick direct; also this reduces their costs.

If a client wants the case to be completely conducted by Roderick, so he would conduct all communications with the other side and the court, draft applications and documents, prepare bundles and so on, Roderick can undertake this as he is also certified to conduct litigation for clients by the Bar standards board.

Rod's Civil work entails - fast track trials and applications, specialising in credit hire and debt recovery.

Criminal Law
Rod has extensive Crown Court and Court of Appeal experience. Trials include Attempted Murder, Armed Robbery, Fraud, Rape and Conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
