Before coming to the Bar, Angela worked for more than 14 years within corporate banking and the aviation industry, where she negotiated complex commercial contracts. This experience enables her to approach legal disputes with commercial awareness, sound judgment and a practical understanding of risk.

Angela was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2019. Her immigration practice encompasses complex asylum and human-rights matters, appeals against refusal decisions, third-country asylum cases, deportation proceedings, immigration bail applications and judicial review.

Angela also has experience of cases in which criminal and immigration proceedings overlap. She has represented clients facing criminal proceedings while their immigration matters remained outstanding, including proceedings in the Crown Court. Her criminal defence experience includes allegations of assault, possession of controlled drugs, proceeds-of-crime matters and driving offences involving alcohol.

Her civil practice includes contentious claims, applications for injunctive relief, contractual disputes and property-related matters. She advises clients on the merits and procedure of their claims, prepares the necessary court documents and provides representation throughout the litigation process.

Angela’s family practice includes divorce and complex financial-remedy proceedings, including cases involving jurisdictional issues and disputed assets. She also represents clients in separation and cohabitation disputes and private children proceedings.

Across all areas of her practice, Angela provides robust advocacy, thorough preparation and straightforward advice, while ensuring that every client feels heard, informed and supported.
